About Myself

ABOUT ME

 

My name is Eliza Fadhliah.  I was born in Padang, West Sumatra, on July 11^st, 1992.  Now, I am 18 years old. The color of my hair is brown and my eyes are black. I have a pointed nose like my mother. My weight is 47 kg and my height is 167 cm, my friends always talk to me if I am a thin girl. I am a student of Padang State University (UNP), faculty of Language and Art, major in English literature. I am second child in my family. I have two sisters. My older sister is a student of Padang State University, too. Faculty of education, major in Indonesian language, her name is Amy. My younger sister is studies at Islamic State Junior High School Kuranji. Her name is Dinda. My father works at Department of Education on Sudirman Street. My mother is an Indonesian language teacher at State Junior High School 31 Padang. 

    

I have many hobbies like reading some novels (mystery novels, romantic novels, and other novels), before I go to bed, I always read novel or other books. Otherwise, I can not sleep. Then, my hobby is watching movies (action, mystery, drama musical, and romantic), watching good movies can make me be addicted, I can watch the movie until four or five times a day. I also like playing computer games. Playing computer games is the most important for me, when I have so many tasks, I have break for refreshing by playing games. And then I love listening to music, music is my life, without music my world will be boring, so every time and everywhere I like listening to music.

  In my childhood, I had so many ambitions for my future. When I was at Kindergarten I was so ambitious  to be a doctor, I was not sure why I was so ambitious, but I though that was a good job in my mind, when I was playing with my friends, I used to become a doctor, that was funny. Then, when I was at Primary School, I had new ambition to be an athlete. When I was at Primary School I used to join in the sports competition of Primary School level. That was great and fantastic for me, because I used to become the second or the third winner. In the Junior High School I had different ambition, I wanted to join UNESCO. I thought like that, because my aunt in Medan is a member of UNESCO, I thought that was excited job for me. I could meet many people in the world. That motivated me to join UNESCO someday. The ambition continued until I was senior high school student.

I am a friendly person. I like have so many friends, I feel happy when my friends can be comfortable to be my friends. Among of them, I just have a best friend. Her name is Yola. I know Yola when I was the first year at Junior High School. Yola and I went to Senior High School 5. Right now, Yola and I have different ambition. Yola has ambition to be a midwife, so, she studies at STIKes Mercubakti Jaya Padang. Her major in obstetrics, I have different ambition from Yola, I like to get a job at an office and I still have ambition to join with world organizations to help people in the world. Although we have different ambition, we are still friends.

 

That is all about me, every moment the most important for me. I am not alone, I have family, I have so many friends and I have an ambition to exist. I have to be success person in my future.

My Hometown

A Beauty Hometown in Padang

My hometown is Padang. Padang is the capital city of West Sumatra, Indonesia. It is located on the western coast of Sumatra. Padang has an area of 694, 96 square kilometers, and Padang has a population of over 833.000 people at the 2010 census. Commonly human in Padang known with Mnangkabau society, so many kind of culture in Padang, each region has different culture with other region. Minangkabau society use minang language as local language.

Padang has some tourism objects, like Padang Beach (known as taplau) which located on Samudra Street until Purus. People can see the beauty of sunset and find so many kinds of beach can be found in Padang. Tourists also can visit Bungus bay. It is located in South of Padang, suitable place for boating and swimming, they would feel enjoy there. Recently, often earthquake happen and there are so many issues say that will happened big earthquake and tsunami in Padang. That is way so many tourists are afraid to visit Padang. Earthquake is not a reason for tourists not visit beauty of nature of Padang. So, do not afraid and confused to visit Padang just because issue of earthquake.

Padang has a museum. This museum has located inside Melati Park. The museum known with name is Adityawarman Museum. People get information about the history and culture of the local minangkabau ethnic group there, it is a style building of Padang, and also have to opportunity to see horse cart (the position under of rumah gadang), and few old planes (the position in around park).

In Padang there are so manykind of special food. Minangkabau people usually call Padang cuisine. The food that famous in Padang are rending (rending is spicy meat), dendeng balado (dendeng balado is spicy meat, the meat and the chili’s are fried), some kinds of curry (pangek padeh curry, asam padeh curry, etc), palai bada (mix of fish, grater coconut, and kind of some spices). Padang also has special soup known as Soto Padang. Soto Padang is a kind of meat soup and chicken soup. In the evening, sate is good menu, because sate Padang is very delicious.

Finally, West Sumatra has an airport has located in Padang Pariaman. The airport name is BIM (international Minangkabau Airport). If tourists had plan to stay in Padang, they can choose one of so many hotels in Padang. There are some hotels located not far from tourist spot, you can go on foot, by crosstown bus, horse cart, or ojek. Be careful with your stuff, because Padang is not a safe city.
